Though English, The Last Francis is the only living descendant from the long bloodline of the Francis Clan, an infamously debauched, aristocratic family, hailing from Ireland. He has been noted to suffer from an occasional disposition that doctors would call hysteric, and those with better understanding than doctors would call Satanic. In order to spread all his concentrated bitterness he decided to construct his personal lamentations in to a musical form and thus started playing the guitar, whilst growling his poems over the top. Since then he has performed a number of times in varies venues, mainly gambling dens, brothels and witches Sabbaths. He has also found varies musical accomplices along the way most notably the mysterious French tramp and violinist; Tabes Dorsalis and the vile philosopher of dementure known as Mother's Ruin.

The result has been described by that famous man of letters, the most highly distguished Lord Byron as: “ an infernal infusion of tortured dogs and melancholic folk, laced with the most despicable and hateful poetry I've ever had the misfortune to suffer!”
